DANVILLE, IL… State Representative Brandun Schweizer is looking for qualified candidates to apply for his Summer Legislative Internship Program for Summer 2024.
Candidates in high school or college that are outgoing, organized, engaged, and want to experience working in a state legislative office are encouraged to apply. The Summer Internship Program is offered for eight (8) weeks from June 3 through July 26, 2024. Intern compensation is $16.50 per hour.
Duties include constituent services, researching issues and drafting bills, participating in events on behalf of the Representative, and engaging with local nonprofits and civic organizations. Interns will work out of Rep. Schweizer’s Danville district office.
