This Week in the 104th (Photos)

It was another successful week here in the 104th! Thank you to everyone that took the time to meet with me this past week. I enjoy being out in the district.

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to speak to the 6th grade students at Southview Elementary about careers. It was a great way to connect with students. This group of students was great and they all have a bright future ahead of them! Thank you, Southview!

I also attended XPO’s ribbon cutting in Danville. XPO is a freight transportation company. Congratulations to XPO for opening your newest location! We are happy to have you!

On Thursday, I started my day at the Danville Noon Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. I then was able to present certificates to DACC’s Co-Ed Cheerleading team for their success at cheer camp! Congratulation to those students! Way to represent!

I ended Thursday with a remodel open house at Liberty Village’s Hawthorne Inn in Danville. Liberty Village is a nursing home, rehabilitation facility, and senior living facility all in one! They are a great asset to our community and go above and beyond for our seniors. Congratulations to Liberty Village and thank you to all the employees that work hard to ensure Liberty Village feels like home to the residents. It was great to meet you all. A special thanks to Amy Thompson for all she does for the facility!
