As we continue through the final week of the Spring Legislative Session, we have yet to see the budget in its final form. This means that the Majority Party will, yet again, either choose to cloud transparency by gutting and replacing existing bills or use their supermajority to vote to break their own Constitutional requirements for the Three Readings Rule.
This is not how government is supposed to operate. We need to be firm in providing accountability, transparency, and affordability for Illinoisans.
