Last week, I launched my new initiative “Brandun on the Job” beginning with the Danville Fire Department – Illinois, where I spent time working alongside firefighters, washing trucks, cleaning the station, and learning more about the challenges they face serving the community.
The initiative will allow me to visit various workplaces across the district, where I will spend time with employees, employers, and public servants to better understand their work, the challenges faced, and how state government can better support them.
