DANVILLE, IL… State Representative Brandun Schweizer (R-Danville) is announcing grant opportunities that are made available for those in the east-central Illinois region from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and is encouraging those eligible to apply.
The grants cover a wide variety of community and economic development initiatives for our state, including funding for small business growth, workforce development, infrastructure improvements, disaster recovery, and support for rural communities. Several programs also provide resources for local governments, nonprofits, and businesses that are seeking to expand, improve public services, or compete for federal funding opportunities.
“These grant opportunities represent an important investment in the future of east-central Illinois,” said Rep. Schweizer. “The resources available through these programs can help communities grow, create jobs, and improve the quality of life for so many residents across our region.
